The sex workers collective was founded in 2021 for and by sex workers. It was born out of a need to get together, to share our experiences, learn from each other and break the isolation so many of us face because of the stigma this job brings. All of us felt the need to get together to fight for our rights and against discrimination, stigmatisation and criminalisation of our jobs.

Our goal as a network is to support each other, build a community and to be a voice for sexworker rights. We are open to any sexworker who shares our principles.

On the one hand the sexworkers collective organises the Hurenapero which is open to all current and past sexworkers and takes place once every month alternating between Bern and Zürich and aims to connect sexworkers working in Switzerland, build solidarity among each other and share skills and knowledge.
